At the corner of corner of 2nd and Adams streets, in old Corvallis, for 170 years there was a hardware store… Now living on the same spot is WADE HARDWARE.
A bit like walking back into the past, the modern setting is old school, right down to the long wooden floors. The staff are friendly and know their stuff. Making a quick stop for a critically needed item, or requiring some advice for the right tool or part? They are up for it.

Wandering is encouraged...

All of the fasteners you could want, with assistance nearby to boot!

Ropes, ropes, and more ropes…

Is that a Star Trek wheel barrow?

The thing about a real hardware store? It helps you find what you need for a job, and it inspires you to imagine what else you could build.
WADE HARDWARE looks and feels like a hardware store should.

Hi Kat! Sorry about that… Do you have an iPhone? It is formatted for phones (and works on my iPhone), but it is a photo blog, so it works best on either a pad, a laptop, or desktop… The pictures are full size, although jpeg so they don’t take up much digital room.
Thanks,
Art

Hi Art, for some of us, that hardware store would be reason enough to move to Corvallis. :-)
