Sometimes when I’m walking with my camera, my eye stops my forward movement, and I am captured by the moment. It might be a glorious sight, or it might be the simplest thing. Life has somehow taught me to trust those moments, to wait for whatever will emerge…

It might be encouragement to do that which is diminishing among us. There is always more than first meets the eye in a good book; it can take us time to find what awaits…

It might also be the simple discipline to stop and to look down, straight down where we are standing. We might even see a miniature pond in the rain-drenched exposed aggregate at our feet.

If I were a leprechaun, this would be my perch from which to gaze… Mother Nature never disappoints. There is always some new perspective…

I hope you enjoyed my little walk into meditation. May life bless you with such simple moments.
We’ll see you next Sunday!
Grace and peace to you,
Art Mills, photographer and writer, and Thea Mills, editor.
