Just out Meandering

I had a particular purpose for my walk this morning. Oh, but I was wrong. It was to be a meandering through town…

I looked up , and there it was, this delicate, translucent canopy of red…

Looking down, there was this little blue surprise of sheer delight... What other surprises would the day hold?

What! You’re out of gas?

All it requires is a bicycle… Where would I ride that bicycle?

They’re ready for work, but is this a day for projects or meditation?

That’s where I want to be! Sitting alongside the creek, sipping a latte and reading a book, or more… engaged in lively conversation!

  1. Only the red wheelbarrow is practicing social distancing. But, like us, they’re all up against the wall.

    Enjoying the pix!

  2. I am getting some respite from the quarantine by getting little drives in. Now would be the time for long drives to see the wildflowers out on the highways or wandering on the back roads, but the police and sheriffs and county mounties are on the lookout for unnecessary driving, so, short trips are the order of the day. I see the remnants of the bluebonnet blooms and the next tide of daisies, paintbrush, and winecups in some of the open fields around my housing development. I remember walking around Davis when I visited and thinking it would be great to live in a place where I could walk everywhere I wanted to go. I get that same feeling when Tom and I visit Charlevoix. I miss that in San Antonio and Schertz. Thanks for the pictures. 🙂

    1. Hi Donna… Glad you joined! When you get a chance, you might want to look at the two earlier posts. You’ll get an automatic email with my new post… probably Monday morning. Not sure yet where I’m wandering!
