This morning I walked down Siskiyou Boulevard from Tolman Creek Road, to the center of town.
One thing was made clear by a business awning…

Ashland is, indeed, at home… Even at seven AM, there weren’t many people about.
Some of the street signs along the way reflect our aspirations…

Then, I saw this on the side of a church… It led me to reflect upon encounters on FaceBook, or recent events reported in the news…

Instead of breathing oxygen into the fires of anxiety, fear, or hostility, what can I do to advance peace?
Along my walk, I ran into people beginning their morning…

This young person, dressed rather formally, was a bit wobbly on his bike…

A Recology driver made his regular stop at a commercial establishment.

Each person has a different way of getting around. In some instances, it may be the only way available…
Closer to downtown… a bit of whimsy…

I imagine myself on the lake with family or friends…

It will be great when No Vacancy again means, full house!
Stately houses line Siskiyou Boulevard…

“A cup of tea? Oh yes, I’d love one! Thank you…”
Thanks for joining me on my walks!
I hope you’ll join me again for my morning glimpses. I promise to fill them with beauty and to keep the narrative blessedly short.
Until the next time…
Grace and peace to you,
Art Mills
Thank you Art.
I always enjoy your posts. An island of peace and tranquility in a sea stormy uncertainty.
