Following my Lens

This morning, I followed my lens around town...

It took me to shapes and gradations of color…

I have gone by hundreds of times and never noticed the eyes looking back at me!

Farther on, this gentleman was walking with his morning coffee…

Ballots and Books… What better combination for our present circumstance?

I went down the hill and across two main streets…

… and walked right into this secret burst of color!

Around the corner and down the street…

…these partners greet passers by.

Walking back full circle…

Time to sit quietly for a moment…

Thanks for joining me on my walks!

I hope you’ll join me again for my morning glimpses.  I promise to fill them with beauty and to keep the narrative blessedly short.

Until the next time…

Grace and peace to you,

Art Mills

  1. Art,

Thanks for inviting us to join your walks! Ashland look gorgeous and we so enjoy seeing some our fondest sites. Hopefully we’ll actually see them up close sometime this year.

Had an unexpected phone call from Groza a few days ago…calling about the IJ obituary of Beth Ashley last week. She was 94 and had led one of most interesting lives of anyone I know. The Grozas are fine — they’ve done some traveling, including a trip t Africa. Eldest son continues to live and work in Russia but is looking for something somewhee else; younger son is a hydrologist living with wife somewhere in the south — KY maybe?

    Hello to Thea!
