I was out walking along Iowa Street this morning…

The question every morning… What will the news bring today?

What is this mystery color place?

There is beauty in the midst of hodgepodge…

Feels like it grew right on the spot…

This old tree continues to heal where a limb was removed…

How do people navigate this juncture on a busy day?

Nearby, everything reaches for the sky…

Playing with the abstract in a quiet corner…

I was sure I saw a Preying Mantis here…
Just as I neared my car, I came upon this character…

His neighborhood, I imagined him saying, “Good morning… now you can go.”
That’s my morning walk today, a little later than usual. I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for joining me!
I hope you’ll join me again for my morning glimpses. I promise to fill them with beauty and to keep the narrative blessedly short.
Until the next time…
Grace and peace to you,
Art Mills
I particularly like “Hodgepodge” and the “abstract.” Lovely morning walk.

Thanks Tim! It was one of those mornings when I ran into unexpected things, including the cat who literally felt like he was ushering me off the street. : ) Art

Lovely!! 🙂 Funny cat, and I can’t believe how many different sculptures there are in the town. I guess I never noticed quite how many there were.

Hi Sask! Glad you liked my walk… The cat cracked my up! I took that picture from across the street, but kept taking pictures as I walked into the middle of the street, talking to him. He reminds me of my first cat, Zephyr (I called him Zeppy). The sculptures? There ARE a ton of them in Ashland… I’ve only scratched the surface so far.
