Walking the Lake

This past week, we were camping at Lake Manzanita in the Lassen Volcanic National Park. These pictures are from two morning walks.

Mt. Lassen last erupted in 1914. Camping so close to this mammoth definitely puts everything into perspective…

A line of fisherman advancing across the lake in coordinated effort. Human endeavors can be a little silly...

Ready and waiting for the people who come to play on the water…

We could all use clear guidance for the waters ahead of us these days…

How do these trees, ravaged by fire and apparently dead, manage to stand for so long? We can learn so much about tenacity from nature…

An elusive Chickadee…

Beauty emerges at the start of a new life...

And, beauty expresses itself in repose…

Thanks for joining me!

I hope you’ll join me again for my morning glimpses.  I promise to fill them with beauty and to keep the narrative blessedly short.

Until the next time…

Grace and peace to you,

Art Mills

    1. Cristina, thanks for visiting the blog! I’ve been going there forever, but I wasn’t sure how it would work for one of my posts. There were just tons of things that jumped out! Grace and peace, Art.
