Even with the multiple crises we are facing right now, there is beauty in our midst… Beauty reminds us of the hope that is there as well.
Starting out at Southern Oregon University – while looking for one particular object, I found this instead.

Hidden among the trees, is the original bell of the Southern Oregon Normal School.

An architect or a landscape architect thought to place this burst of color high enough for students on the second floor to see directly... That’s where I’d study!

Crossing the street, I was stunned to have missed this on previous walks…

A vortex of color… Can you guess where it is?

Looking forward, walking together into the future…
Beauty is an encouragement…
Thanks for joining me!
I hope you’ll join me again for my morning glimpses. I promise to fill them with beauty and to keep the narrative blessedly short.
Until the next time…
Grace and peace to you,
Art Mills
Good morning, Art, I can’t guess where the Vortex of Color is (I’d guess it’s somewhere on the SOU campus?) but I’d love to know the answer to its location. Thanks for sharing,David

The Vortex of Color location? It’s on the back side of the Snyder Museum on the SOU campus. I “cheated” a bit (all photographers do), because I cropped out a lot of it from my image, and shot the image with some tree in between… : )
