All of my life, I have been on the move. Recovery from a simple wrist surgery on my left hand means that I need to stop temporarily doing a lot of things I love to do.
I’ve been given the gift of time to sit…
Here’s where I’ll go first…

This bench captured me on my first walk through the SOU campus. I confess that I love the colors, red and green. But, more than that grabbed me.
It is the careful attention to detail… it’s so well put together. Out of perfect, functional design, flows simple beauty.
I love this bench, and its setting, both of which afford a time for quiet reflection.
I might even bring a thermos of morning coffee…
Where’s your bench?
Thanks for joining me!
I hope you’ll join me again for my morning glimpses. I promise to fill them with beauty and to keep the narrative blessedly short.
Until the next time…
Grace and peace to you,
Art Mills

Thanks Cristina! Special thanks to SOU for installing so much public art, intentional and unintentional… It is, among other things, a photographer’s dream!
