Walking with Favorites

So, I’ve been walking and taking pictures for seven months of these Covid and Trump times… My goal has been to share a post every Sunday morning.

This week, I’m sharing some of my favorite images from previous meandering.

“Hey! I’m over here! Please, let me wish you a Good Morning….”

A place to just sit and gaze…

There are encounters that help us remember we are in this together…

A gifted musician and his cello, enchanting a whole group of park goers with his gently passionate music…

The physical realization that there are three things every tyrant fears most: books, ballots, and the people who use them...

The owner of a small cafe, who exudes grace and joy in the simple act of preparing a well cooked meal...

A creature so focused on breakfast that he hardly notices any other presence…

Beauty in the simplest of things…

I’m sneaking in one from this very morning as well…don’t tell!

Every morning… shows us… that light is always waiting to break into the day.

Thanks for joining me again for my morning glimpses.  I promise to fill them with beauty and to keep the narrative blessedly short.

Until the next time…

Grace, peace, and love to you,

Art Mills

  1. Hello Art!

Thank you for lighting and lightening our days!

We so enjoy our glimpses of your Ashland. They always bring smiles and memories of you two and your lovely community, which is one of our favorite places in the world. And they remind us of the constant beauty of the natural world and the inspiration that comes from it.

Fingers crossed that Tuesday’s vote will once again enable us all to take deep breaths and focus totally on the positive ways we can rebuild our damaged country and people. Lots of work to do, but Americans can do it!!!

Lots of love, Sallyanne & Jack

    1. Hey, thanks so much for you comments! I share your sentiments entirely. Looking at the first morning sunlight on trees out back this today, I am filled with the same hope.

We so look forward to when you’ll be able to stop again on your way northward!

Love back to you from Art and Thea
