Walking thru the Gloom

Like everyone else, I remain stunned and saddened by what happened in Washington, D.C. on January 6th. I just needed to get outside, during a break in the rain, for a walk that would help shake some of the gloom.

I had no idea that potatoes grew on trees!

“We’re watching you.”

Winter contrasts continue to amaze me…

Were these three in “Alice in Wonderland?”

A delightful thing happened on my walk… I encountered two people I’d never met before. Near the beginning and later near the end of my walk, each was an engaging conversationalist. What a treasure. The only thing was that the light was fading fast and I soon had to get on my way.

Present to light the way…

Yes, I’m waiting to see what plans will be hatched next week. Still, walking out with nature, and meeting new friends, I’m more hopeful…

Thanks for joining me again for my morning glimpses.  I promise to fill them with beauty and to keep the narrative blessedly short.

Until the next time…

Grace, and peace to you,

Art Mills
