We sold our home last summer and moved to the Mountain Meadows community in Ashland, Oregon.
Early this morning I set out walking on the periphery of Mountain Meadows…
The morning sun offers a moment of luminosity in the awakening sky…
“Hey! I know this is beautiful, but where’s the hive?”
I could sit here and not even notice the time going by…
“So where’s my breakfast?”
Was Shel Silverstein here?
That’s it for now. It is so good to be on the road with my camera and imagination!

Good to see these photos, Art! A few weeks ago, I was in that same spot and saw several Western Bluebirds. Did you see any?

I have seen them! They are beautiful and very energetic little flyers, often landing on the fence line.

Thanks Meliss! We love the community and it’s great to get back out. I’ll be skipping this Sunday because I had surgery and I need to avoid that kind of prolonged uninterrupted walking for a few more days than Sunday.
