Back Downtown Again

I love downtown Corvallis. There are always surprises!

********

At the corner of Second Street and Madison Avenue, this sign tells of cheerful times past and hints at things to come.

********

Less than a block away, this 30 year old hand carved wooden sign beckons passersby to venture into the narrow alley where it hangs.

********

“Welcome! Do you like seafood?”

********

“Hi there! My other place is in the San Diego Zoo…”

********

Is this guy from a Harry Potter film?

********

I hope you liked this short walk up the first two blocks of Madison Avenue. May it bless you with a moment’s diversion.

We’ll see you next Sunday!

Grace and peace to you,

Art Mills, photographer and writer, and Thea Mills, editor.

  1. A nice collection that celebrates the art of everyday, ordinary objects. So nice that some choose to embellish these objects with their talent, and that you have posted it all for us.
